For the next few weeks, my internet will be down. So HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! I think I will be able to get on it during the work week of Jan 2nd. But when I get home. Nada. This has to do with a HUGE foul up with the cable company, which TRIED to bill my ex-girlfriend (which she has not lived here for over a year) and running into a too large debt to pay off before the ""past due date" and as I catch it it up, it will not be fixed... So on that note, if I am off of here, or my visitation is spotty at best, you all know why. Love and bruises, Charley

This is a month of triumph and strife, all at the same time. I have had a major argument with my father, which may result in me not seeing him for some time. Mind you, this is both sad and good at the same time. My father has, in the last ten years, turned from a functional alcoholic into a full-blown drunk. He is getting worse and worse, and I do not see an end to it until either he drinks himself to death, or he gets help. Either way I am unable, at this point in my dealings with him, to affect that changing in him. The bad part is that he still looks at me as if I am 6. Sorry, pops, that boat sailed LONG ago. As I sit here and type, I have come to realize a few things about life. 1. No matter how bad your hockey team is doing, it's not THAT important and having my son around is calming... And that he is more dedicated than any player to any sport... 2. I am TOO DAMN SINGLE!!! 3. I care a lot less about #2 than I did last year 4. To a nine year old, farts are funny. 5. I need to go to bed!
